The recently published Boston Criteria 2.0 provides new pathologically validated diagnostic criteria for cerebral amyloid angiopathy, a common age-related cerebral small vessel disease that causes hemorrhagic stroke and vascular cognitive impairment. Boston criteria 2.0 includes new white matter features: centrum semiovale perivascular spaces and the white matter hyperintensity multispot pattern. In this module, Dr. Eric Smith (University of Calgary) guides trainees through application of Boston Criteria 2.0 through multiple case examples.
