The recently published Boston Criteria 2.0 provides new pathologically validated diagnostic criteria for cerebral amyloid angiopathy, a common age-related cerebral small vessel disease that causes hemorrhagic stroke and vascular cognitive impairment. Boston criteria 2.0 includes new white matter features: centrum semiovale perivascular spaces and the white matter hyperintensity multispot pattern.
