Genome-wide association studies to understand genetic factors contributing to complex traits including vascular dementia
Key concepts and approaches are introduced to conduct and interpret genome-wide association studies. This type of approach identifies genetic risk factors contributing to complex/multi-factorial diseases/traits. The content is applicable to all complex traits, but we will use vascular dementia or related traits as an example when possible. Activities will be included to consolidate knowledge.
